How does a Eurosonic weekend look like?
We started our second Dutch weekend with a gig in Nijmegen, in Merleyn. The third sold out venue in one week! Thanks again to the terrific audience!
After the gig, we immediately drove to Groningen, which means arriving at 3 am a the Van Der Valk Hotel near Groningen.

10 am, time for breakfast, because we have a busy schedule today.
At 12.30 we played an acoustic set for FaceCulture.
Then driving from Oosterpoort to the Plato record store for an instore session. Putting or own acoustic piano on the stage was made impossible by the staircase. So, we decided to play in the middle of the store, without any mics or amplification. A unique sensation for us and for the audience.
Then, finally, time for our most important gig: the Eurosonic showcase in the magnificent Schouwburg. The venue was fully packed again.

You can read some reviews here, here and here or watch the Wannabes photo series.
After the show we played an acoustic session for Dutch radio station 3FM / 3voor12.

A moment of improvising with broken Casio keyboards and some of our own insturments. You can watch the result below.
And after a busy day, there is always time for some funny walks at a windy gas station. We proudly present: the moon walk of our sound engineer Joris.
